Great headset, best in ear headphones

Exactly what I needed, arrived quickly and connected to my Teams app with no software. Volume is great, line mute and volume control work great, plus a green light when the connection is active. Headphones are hard to come by these days so I was lucky enough to find this one. Plantronics products work best with a wired headset.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Has flaws

Lightweight, great sound

I teach online and attend many online conferences every week. I used a lightweight Logitech headset that I liked until I bought this model. WOW. Doesn't matter! The cable is longer, syncs to your computer instantly, the sound is fantastic, just as light and the ear cushions are even more comfortable. Plus there are controls in the cable.

Pros
  • nice touch
Cons
  • cable is shorter than other picks

Another great headset from Plantronics

My last headset from Plantronics was released 15 years ago, hasn't been used much and still works great. I chose this device because it connects via a USB port. I like the red cable, it's easier to spot among all the cables under my desk. The sound is clear. The ear pads are made of high-density foam but are very comfortable. The pillow around the top headband provides extra comfort. The device is well made and well thought out.

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Not as good as my old Plantronics headset.

I don't need to hear myself through headphones, I know how I sound. I don't know why Plantronics thinks I need to hear myself in the headset. At least they could make sure I'm not twice as loud as the people I'm trying to talk to. so to speak. My old Plantronics headset from 5 years ago was 10 times better than this flimsy piece of junk. I think Plantronics should be bought back because they don't even say Plantronics on it, they say "poly" what is "poly"?

Stopped working two days after the return deadline.

I opened the ECU to see what the problem is. One of the micro thin (like cheap, low quality) wires broke off at the solder joint. I stripped a small piece of wire, but the tension on this now shortened wire was too great and it snapped again immediately. Plantronics was kind enough to put a resin seal on the stopper knot at the end of the harness so you can't unwrap it to expose more wires without destroying the wires. I bought a Plantronics headset about 15 years ago which was solid and still…

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • For pensioners

Best work from a home headset I've tried!

Before the pandemic, like many others, I was sent home to work. The single-sided in-ear headphones that came with it kept falling out of my ear. I've always preferred double ears for each note. I've tried and brought back several wireless options, even with my AirPods for a while. I know Plantronics specializes in desktop headsets, so I was looking for something that wasn't too expensive. I didn't have high expectations for the price since many Plantronics cost over $100, but this headset is…

Excellent sound with some flaws

Sound Quality: I can't dispute the rave reviews for sound quality. I mainly use it for VoIP calls and have no complaints. Microphone of decent quality Only positive feedback was heard from the interlocutors. Voices sound crisp and clear. Feeding the mic back into the headphones so you can hear your voice is an odd design choice. but after a few minutes I got used to it. Fit: I have a high head and/or low, small ears and the headphones don't sit in the center of my ears even with the frame…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Long wait

Pleasant but terrible tinny sound.

I've been using Plantronics .Audio 478 and .Audio 628 headphones for 8 years. The .Audio range sounded great for their size and lightweight design. You get a deep, rich response from low frequencies all the way to the top end of the spectrum. Unfortunately, Plantronics (now Poly because they bought Polycom) discontinued both of these headphones. They went with the Blackwire line (I had an old Blackwire headset and bought this C3220 thinking they would make some sound improvements. NO). Absolute

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Vulgarity
