Kids love it and brush their teeth VERY seriously

My kids are very picky about toothpaste and I was afraid it would be "too minty" for them. They both love and enjoy brushing their teeth now! They run up to me after brushing their teeth and ask me to check and rate plaque every night. I didn't expect them to be so into it, but I'll take it! They are 7 and 9 years old and their last visit to the dentist revealed beautiful, healthy and clean teeth!

Good for deep cleaning of teeth

It's expensive but it really helps our son to brush his teeth well. We don't use it for every clean, but we use it several times a week to make sure it cleans well enough. This is ideal for special needs children who may have trouble knowing if they are brushing their teeth properly. It was recommended by our dentist. Tip: Apply lip balm before brushing to avoid discolouration on the lips! We also only use this in the evenings so we don't accidentally send him to school with a missed spot.

  • Large selection

Fur. Beauty and Personal Care

I was very happy to find this as my son's dentist recommended this type of toothpaste and it was the ONLY plaque releasing toothpaste I could find. Really disappointed. Five of us in our house have tried it and I have no idea if it really opens up plaque or just shows where we didn't rinse after brushing. It is very difficult to tell if it really identifies plaque as it also appears in areas where it is not present. It's a great idea in theory, but I'm REALLY disappointed after spending $26 on…

doesn't work as well as the opening pills

I then used one of the red detection tablets and it showed a lot more plaque which I did not remove. So I don't think the product is that good. To be honest, toothpaste is (slightly) easier to use than a single tablet. Many also complain of a pink stain from drop-down pills. But I've personally found that the green corners of your mouth from toothpaste are more of a problem (i.e. VISIBLE) than a

Sounds good. doesn't do what it says on the tin

Most importantly, I haven't noticed any improvement in plaque removal. Your teeth die from it, so you get the motivation to get all that green (and there's a lot of green) off your teeth. It may help, but there is no evidence of improved plaque removal. Conversely, a green color remains in the sink and on the toothbrush. I always had to brush a second time with Crest/Colgate to get rid of the green. toothbrush and mouth. If it helped me brush my teeth I'd be happy, but it's a lot of work and…

I bought this toothpaste for my husband. It, like many others, produces more plaque than average. I have a love-hate relationship with this toothpaste and here's why. (much cheaper) Third, it really works. (Product does exactly what it should) Hate hates hate. The toothpaste itself is dark in color, almost fir green, resulting in splashes of light blue-green around the sink and on the mirror. It doesn't taste bad not the best but doesn't say anything about the taste that I won't use it and will
