They can be great for some things but not ointments. I waited until my ointment was cool enough to put my finger in and it was still deforming those containers. They are also not sealed. I would return them if they didn't already have the ointment in there. I will never buy again.

I use them to make and store dipping powder. After shaking the powder to mix and unscrewing the lid, the powder appears around the neck of the jar and spills everywhere. I didn't have this problem with my original lenses. I think I'll try putting some plastic on top before unscrewing the lid and see how it works.

It's good. The one ounce size is what I was looking for, but the packaging left a lot to be desired. I use them to store beads and other craft items. It was oddly wrapped in torn thick plastic and then taped shut and I had to use scissors and then each one (all 24) was wrapped in a small plastic bag. It's too much and totally unnecessary. I had other glass bottles and they were in a box (of a different brand) and something like that could be done. They're plastic, they won't break, and plastic…
