Description of Plastic model ZVEZDA American medium tank М4А2 Sherman (3702) 1:35
Named after a general in the Northern States Army during the American Civil War, the M4 Sherman tank was the main tank of the US Army during World War II. M 4 Sherman tanks began to arrive in the Soviet Union under Lend-Lease at the end of 1943.
Reliable and maneuverable, the Shermans were also quite technologically advanced. Its M4A2 diesel version became the most massive foreign-made medium tank used by the Red Army. The main armament was an American 75 mm M3 L/37.5 tank gun. For Soviet tankers, this tank had the nickname "emcha" (from M4). During the years of World War II, the Red Army received about 2007 tanks.
