A three star rating is always uncomfortable. To be perfectly clear, it works, but not very well, and not with all PlayStation 2 controllers. If you don't delve into the answers to the questions, you'll find that this works with dance mats. Well you are wrong as the drivers for this product only allow for thirteen button controllers with two joysticks. This means it will work. with PS2 joystick controllers but no dance floors. This was a huge disappointment and made the product almost unusableโ€ฆ

Save $7 and spend it on a cup of coffee at Starbucks

Was badly damaged. At least you can enjoy your coffee. I'm sure this thing works great for a lot of people, but for some random people like me, this adapter didn't recognize my PS2 Dualshock 2 controller, it recognized it as a different controller type. It only recognizes joysticks, joystick buttons (L3 and R3), and start and select buttons. Nothing more. Even when showing it on my PC, it only shows four buttons. Others aren't even there when you try to calibrate them or view properties. Soโ€ฆ

Not consistent but working

I ordered 3 of these adapters to use with Clone Hero on a computer. First off, people who say "doesn't work with the X controller" may not be entirely right as these adapters appear to be very different despite being in the same category. The first one I ordered worked great except I couldn't register the striker bar. on the guitar. I just figured it was probably to be expected and wasn't worried. It worked with both wired and wireless controllers. About a month later I decided to buy moreโ€ฆ

Pi station compatible, easy to use,

I bought these adapters specifically for use in a DIY retro Pi setup. This unit had no interfacing issues with the original Sony or Raspberry Pi 3 controllers. I didn't connect them to anything else. I didn't use the plastic controller port and didn't use the USB connector at the end for my build. I chose a controller board to connect directly to the Pi's USB pins, as well as a board for the PS-ONE. The version I received had a small "brick" on the cable that housed all the components. The case
