Playstation Replacement Joystick Controller THUMBSTICKS 2 Review

Ordered from another seller after a failed attempt. Installed flawlessly! Assembling the controller is a bit tricky but they worked great and didn't cause any reassembly issues!

The plastic on the control that comes in contact with the controller body is too high and will therefore stick the control in the last set direction and significantly over time Wear and tear would be required to remove it. . All of this with a fairly slick thumb grip that doesn't allow for adequate friction and power. Bad for what it's supposed to be, good enough for what it's supposed to do, until I find a better replacement. I do not recommend it and will not buy it again. Two stars because…

I recently got a FreeMcBoot memory card and internal hard drive for my PS2 Fat, so my girlfriend and I have started playing with it a lot more. With only one "clean" controller, I decided to disassemble and clean the other 3 we have. The problem was that the sticks degrade over time and get a sticky texture and I haven't found a good way to get rid of that. So I have these pristine controllers with nasty sticky joysticks. Bought these to attach to my controller and they work like a charm…

This worked well on a PS2 controller that had the stick tops torn off. They're pretty easy to replace. Just make sure everything, like the trigger/bumper knobs, is lined up again when you reassemble the controller and put the screws back in. Some disassembly is required to replace them. I still have an original Sony controller for the PS2. When comparing these sticks to the original, the texture is very similar.
