protects your back and shoulders

Ideal for homeowners with drywall, plywood or melamine boards. I suppose if you're a builder and don't have this you're used to carrying around 4x8 sheets, but it certainly makes things easier for those who only do it occasionally. This is especially handy when you're wearing sheets and need to walk under a branch or something else, which can be very challenging. Also saves wear and tear on your hands.
