Great Price but Disappointing Performance

Update: Read speed is only 1800MB/s which is very disappointing as this drive is said to reach 3000MB/s. You have to deduct 2 stars for that. Better than SATA drive but spend extra money to buy Samsung 800 or 900 series. Works fine on ASRock Z170 Pro4. Installed Windows 10 on this drive with no problems. The file copy speed far exceeds that of my old SATA SSD (and especially my old hard drive). Purchased primarily because this 1TB NVME SSD had the fewest critical reviews on Revain in January…

Great memory good price

To be honest I had never heard of A-TECH brand computer memory but they had memory in the specs I wanted at a good price so I placed mine An order. The memory was well packaged and arrived early. This good looking DDR4 2133MHz 1.2V Non-ECC (2x8GB) memory doesn't have a bulky heatsink and is just what I need to fit into tight spaces. I inserted my new A-TECH memory into 2 memory slots of my Alienware X51 R3 and let the BIOS automatically reset the memory size and it was recognized and working…

Fast, high volume and great price.

I just bought a 2021 Lenovo Legion 5 Pro Gen 6 (Ryzen 7 5800H, Nvidia RTX 3070) and knew the included 512GB drive wouldn't fit. The laptop has 2 NVME slots so I decided to explore the best 2TB drives at the best price. Best value for money this drive is without a doubt - and it comes with a 5 YEAR WARRANTY, which is a lot. There are cheaper discs, but you have to sacrifice something with each one. There are faster drives, but you're paying a disproportionate amount of money for them. 5 year…

Pros
  • understandable even for the old
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

The overall product is amazing and it worked so well I got 1TB back to 2TB. These companies that create promotional images are misleading as the speed depends on the sizes you buy. The images show 3000Mbps for both sizes when you see the packaging only says 1800Mbps. I'm sure I'm not the first to buy a 1TB and see the wrong speed on the box compared to the ad shown. As a gamer I got this for a laptop and it usually takes 40-60 minutes to write a copy of GTA 5 that weighs 95GB. This magical…

Works as an optional SSD upgrade for Samsung Galaxy Book Pro (2021)

I bought this SSD to add to my new 15.6 inch Samsung Galaxy Book Pro (2021 model). The Galaxy Book Pro comes standard with an M.2 2230 SSD and it's hard to find a 1TB with a 2230 or expensive if available. Good thing the laptop has an additional M.2 2280 NVME slot for upgrades. Поэтому вместо замены SSD я просто получил этот PNY CS2130 1 ТБ в качестве дополнительного диска.Установка прошла быстро и легко,ноутбук смог его распознать и отформатировать без проблем.Я не буду вдаваться в подробности

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • Low repairability

Sequential write speed slows down when HDD becomes full

When I first installed an SSD, the sequential write speed reached 3000MB/s. Now that it's almost full (88%), the sequential write speed has dropped to 1000MB/s. I used to have a Samsung 970EVO 500GB and this drive was fast but I was struggling with capacity as you can see as I've already used 88% of 2TB. The performance difference is imperceptible to me, so instead of a fast and stable speed, I would go for a capacity of 2 TB. (1000 MB/s sequential write is still enough for me). I don't do…
