Poor shipping best in computer components

The memory is very bad value for money so I returned it. The delivery was awful in the summer when it was 94 degrees, wasn't it? It was mailed in a paper envelope which was put in my small mailbox and left there until I got home from work.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Decent price and performance

Not a bad price for 2 x 16GB (although it will probably go down after the release of DDR5 this year). I like that in combination with the Mystic Light MSI board you can change color effects. So far everything has handled pretty well, definitely plan on buying another pair. Definitely helps the CPU and GPU with heavier workloads (gaming and multitasking).

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Some bugs

Works as advertised

They also work great at advertised speeds. You need to enable XMP profile, but it was stable under heavy multitasking workload, video encoding and gaming. I have no complaints. One note: RGB does not sync with MysticLight on MSI motherboards. They do their thing. It looks great - don't get me wrong - but it would be nice if they could sync with the RGB templates I set for Mystic Light.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Great for the price

When I was building my HTPC I made the mistake of ordering cheap memory because performance isn't really important for this particular application. I had occasional crashes and instances where my screen would just go black. I took this and ran an intensive memory test with no errors. Haven't tried to overclock it beyond advertised speeds yet, but given what I'm using the system for, I probably won't. The LED indicators on top of the DIMMs also look great. And they sync with Asus Aura.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Almost never

Not the best value for money.

It does indeed run at the advertised speeds (frequencies) but when I installed it on my machine I ran into two BSODs that I couldn't investigate. The LEDs are dim, very dim, and don't have the bright, vivid colors that Corsair RGB memory has. And they can't be changed or controlled via software either, so I just returned this memory and went with the same specs but from Corsair, which is a bit more expensive but works flawlessly, is software configurable and also comes in white available. .

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Senior Citizen

3200 and below are awesome

So I got fantastic 3200 and 4000 and 4000 RAM when I was working on 10th Gen Intel. However, I had to go back to 3200 when I upgraded to 11th Gen, and here's why: With 11th Gen came first and second gear memory controller speeds that were a 1:1 and 1:2 ratio, respectively to have. So on an 11th gen i7 that supports 3200 it will only run at a controller speed of 1600 which is the Gear 1's 1:1 ratio. That's correct as DDR is duplicate data so will the controllers -speed multiplied by 2, the 11th…

Pros
  • Fast replacement
Cons
  • Almost everything is there
