Comfortable, stable good for BMX

It took me about 10 minutes before I almost forgot they were there. There are no problems with slippage. A few rides and luckily I haven't tested their impact resistance yet. They don't have a hard shell, which you don't need unless you're doing serious DH, but they stay in place and wrap up to cover where I get scabs (eww).

  • Lots of positive vibes

Very convenient! fits body armor

Luckily I haven't been able to test how much protection these items offer. or if I come and update this review. All I can say now is that these things are very comfortable and last all day. I wore them for more than 8 hours a day in 85 degree weather and never had a single thought that I wanted to take them off. Small rubber strips inside prevent them from slipping down. Works great, things don't move at all.

  • This is amazing

I also didn't like that the material was tight at the knee

I couldn't decide between honey or small for this product. I think I would go with the meds if I saved them. They are very massive and felt bulky. Ultimately, I was looking for a lower profile knee pad that I could wear all day. I also didn't like the material that compresses the knee. I ordered the Dianese Trail Skins as they have no material behind the knee. The other pair I'm considering is the G Force, which has a low profile. For reference, I'm 5ft 7in and 132lbs.

  • Everything is fine!

Amazing cross country knee pads

My local trails are a lot of short steep climbs followed by descents. These knee pads offer enough protection for daily cross-country riding. I've stumbled across them twice already. The first time was a pretty decent fall and I walked away with my knees intact. My forearm, on the other hand, looks like a cheese grater (because protection was also placed there). Fits great; I have performed the recommended POC measurements. They will not slip or come loose in an accident. They also do not…

  • Good but not perfect

This is my first set of cycling knee pads, but I recently blew them out for a long weekend in Moab. First I had abrasions/soreness on the hamstring. I think it was because the velcro was too tight because the next day I untied them completely and they felt great. They also stayed in place perfectly when the strap was loosened as much as possible! I wouldn't say I "forgot they were there," but they definitely didn't slow me down. They are on the thinner side of the last and are suitable for…

Not for overweight women with large hips

First of all, unless you have very large hips, they will be quite comfortable. So the good reviews don't surprise me. That being said, I'm 5ft 2" and 240lbs so I have big feet and was hoping an adjustable strap might make a difference. The strap only makes them tighter, it doesn't loosen them above the knee. I've always loved the fact that many fat people like to do sports. But society thinks we don't, so finding workout clothes that don't look tragic or don't match sports accessories is a…

Pad Price < Medical Bill Price

I love these pads. I bought these for abrasion protection, but they offer some impact protection. Obviously wearing them in the summer heat is hotter than not wearing pads at all, but they breathe very well. I wear them averaging 40-50 miles per week for a month and I'm so used to wearing them that it's just another piece of clothing I put on before every ride. My motivation for applying was seeing my partner fall and snap his arm resulting in 5 internal stitches and 11 external stitches. Some…

Good product in cycling

Give critical feedback on the knee pads, in general I was wary of the purchase. However, I am satisfied with my purchase decision. I offer some impressions and suggestions. I'm 5'10", 177 pounds and don't have legs the size of a log. Media fits well. I haven't crashed so can't comment on durability after a fall, although the high thickness and padding inspire confidence to protect the knee from injury.I usually wear them for 7-20 mile rides and have no discomfort in the backs of my knees.I also
