Not Recommended Best Floss

This material tears and breaks like crazy. I bought it thinking it was thinner than the GUM brand and I don't know if that's true or not, but I do know it kept breaking down when I flossed. I won't do without my fine unwaxed GUM Fine yarn anymore.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Weight

charged twice because the floss is black!

Tested by a licensed dental hygienist. Purchase the white version of CVS. I like the thread but it is very thin and unwaxed. You need to know how to wrap it around your fingers and teeth and hold the section in place so that it effectively removes plaque.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Angry

GREAT FOR HEAVY OR DIFFICULT FLOOSING!

Thin but strong, no waxing, free of toxic fluoride but too thin for me. You can see the build up on the black that I wash off and continue working on the same spot. I prefer their Classic 490 denier unwaxed or maybe their thickest 630 denier unwaxed. I try to achieve maximum surface area and light finger play.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Good but not great

Good price. A good product.

I don't know why Brown went for the whole wax(?) thread. Or is it plastic? It seems to me that Percept dental floss helps remove plaque from teeth. I switched from 640 to 420 because the latter slipped through my teeth a lot easier. I hope they stick with what they have because this thread is exactly what the dentist ordered!

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Empty

Thin but effective: Dental floss

I have no idea why this dental floss is black. It's very thin - like a very thin black line. It does the job, but it's too subtle for my taste. If you have access to the HEB grocery store, try an unwaxed dental floss called Essential Floss. It's a little thicker but not too noticeable and works great in tight spaces.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Nothing here

Best dental floss for oral care

This is the only dental floss I use. My husband and I have some of our teeth too close together to use regular heavy gauge floss and the black color lets us see if all plaque has been removed or not. Since I switched to this brand a few years ago I have been flossing every day and it used to be so uncomfortable and the floss would get stuck between my teeth so often that I could only floss 2 or 3 times a week and more . less carefully

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • unreliable

This brand and type of floss was given to me by my dentist and my hygienist says this is the only option available. great lightness. Why black? I think all floss should be black after use. In fact, in addition to what you want to remove from your teeth, you can see plaque on dental floss. I take very good care of my teeth. At the age of 77 I have all but one of my natural teeth and this baby tooth has lasted 65 years. I believe that good dental care has extended the life of this generation and…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Slightly torn
