Hand hurts Accessories

Hardly used as a controller, the hand hurts. You press the joystick for A. There's a top button for B, which doesn't make sense because. You rarely use B. They should have been swapped out or a second, more ergonomic knob should have been made. Used for about 10 minutes before switching back to joycon.

Great accessory for the game. DO NOT DISASSEMBLE

Feels good, is a decent weight. The center joystick is quite small, so it can be clunky at times. blah blah. The main reason I'm writing this is to warn you, NEVER TRY TO OPEN IT YOURSELF! I opened it up to try to remove the strap and ended up ripping the speaker wire out of its socket. not the fault of the product, i'm just an idiot. DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

Disappointed with Nintendo Switch

I am very disappointed with this controller. I knew about the restrictions beforehand but thought my kids would love it. At first they did, but the more we played the game, the more frustrated they became with the controls. Pressing the little stick acts like a select button, but it's very easy to accidentally move it up or down and select the wrong one. Also, you have to hold it exactly so that the red part is facing forward, otherwise the direction will be wrong. At first they were soā€¦

Compulsory payment for Mew in Let's Go, Terrible as a controller, Decent for Pokemon Go. So it's a forced surcharge if you want Mew in Let's Go Pikachu or Let's Go Go Evie. I disagree with such tactics and am ashamed of them. There is also no other way to get Mew into play. You can also move Mew to ONE save file ONCE. Very annoying. As for the joystick/joycon/controller, this thing is awful! It works like garbage and is extremely difficult to use. The only decent feature is using it as aā€¦

Fun addition, kids struggle

I like the feel, weight and impact of the pokeball. A big disappointment was that Nintendo didn't provide any instructions on how to use the Pokeball. A small supplement in the kit would suffice. Instead I had to google it. My kids don't like to play with a ball, they use a controller. Josivk tends to move then they try to decide which is frustrating. It would have been better to press the top two buttons instead of constantly pressing the joystick, which causes some hand fatigue after a while.

1 Star - Can't fully control the game or switch with this controller

I got this thanks to official Nintendo support. I wouldn't recommend this for any of the Let's Go games. It only has the a and b buttons. The lack of x and y buttons means you can't access resetting game functions, and the lack of a home button means you can't even exit the game without pressing it on another Switch controller . This controller is half-baked at best in design and features. My 7 year old loves it otherwise it would be a comeback. I wanted to edit to update the answers. You canā€¦

Inconvenient, Mew is NOT reusable (like a one-time DLC code)

It's a good concept, but not worth it. The joystick is tight when pressed, and since it's not exactly ergonomic, it quickly becomes uncomfortable. It is also inaccurate and difficult to control. Also, $50 seems like a lot for it. ALSO: Mew can only be obtained with this ONCE, EVEN if you delete the save file and try to reuse it in a new save. So once Mew was sold, that was it. It's like a one-time DLC code. So second-hand Pokeball plus is out of the question if you absolutely want to have Mewā€¦

  • Crumpled packaging

Cool but needs an update!

This is a fun controller for the new PokĆ©mon Let's Go games, but some aspects of this controller make it seem like Nintendo might need a firmware update. It's easy to get to the main menu and end the game session when using it as a controller. You have to use the joycon to get to the main menu or press the power button on the Switch. That's annoying, because if you're using the PBP as your main controller, the Switch won't let you plug in a professional controller, even if you just want to useā€¦

  • Not bad, but...
