Description of Polar Pro Flex Strap

Comfortable chest strap for heart rate measurement. The smart fusion of soft fabrics and adaptive electrodes make it extremely sensitive to your heart’s electrical signals, so the heart rate sensor can pick up heart rate quicker and more accurately. Compatible with all Polar heart rate sensors, utilizing the same snap attachment method.

Good belt: Heart rate monitors

So I bought this to ensure the accuracy of the PolarH10. Although the Polar H10 is the best chest HRM I've used in the last 25 years, you do need to wash the straps every 5 hours of use. I highly recommend washing them in cold water in the wash, this always helps prevent HRM readings from getting out of hand or just getting stuck at the same readings for a long period of time. So order extra chest straps and change them. I live in Phoenix, Arizona and use my H10 about two hours a day (running…

  • Everything is fine!

Much needed upgrade

If you have a Polar HRM and like me need a new wristband, this is for you. I have a Polar FT4 with an H1 monitor. My chest strap was worn out after a year of heavy use and I had a lot of slipping and twisting issues. In addition, the electrodes became detached from the strap, which meant that my monitor could no longer read my heart rate during exercise. I went with this new version instead of just replacing mine with the same one, which is great. The little rubber dots you see in the picture…

Don't waste money.

This strap only gives accurate readings for a few months, then it starts giving extremely inaccurate readings, jumps all over the place and finally stops at a very high heart rate. This is not a problem with the other hardware supplied. So far, this has happened to several Polar bracelets. The quality gets worse and worse over time. They only last a few months and then I have to buy a new one. I figured that by purchasing this newer, more expensive version I could avoid the problems the…

Strap is ok but: Training & Fitness

I have used several soft Polar straps in the past and have been quite happy with them but decided to purchase this one as an upgrade. It would get 5 stars as it fits well, is comfortable, the closure is better and seems to work just as well as padded straps, but after about two weeks of wearing a small blister appeared on the rubber. The strap is approximately 2.5 cm from the transmitter latch. It is worn almost every day of the week and rinsed and hung to dry after each use. (I can't figure…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Still better than generic brands

I've tried other brands as no chest strap lasts forever. I wash them after each use, dry them and let them dry. And after six months of daily use, one hour a day, they still break or the electrodes start to fail. But since they bathe in body-warm sweat for an hour a day, that's not a big deal. Cheaper brands work. In my opinion they are less comfortable. Are they worth the extra cost? They have silicone tabs that prevent slipping. And the elastic band is comfortable. t The electrode interface…

Strap fell apart at Fitness Technology

I have been using Polar products for many years and was very satisfied until last year. In the last year, two chest straps have completely deteriorated. I thought 1 fault was a forgivable variance given my long history of satisfaction, but this last strap started falling apart after only about 60 days. I have to say that I usually use the strap 5 times a week and am pretty good at cleaning it frequently. First, the rubber sensor strip began to curl away from the fabric at each end. The rubber…

Works with all Polar heart rate sensors with dual clip attachment

Yes, this original Polar strap is almost three times the price of some of the aftermarket straps Revain offers. I bought one of these and it didn't fit Polar products as advertised. Pictured above is a Polar strap, below is an aftermarket strap. The problem is the wide plastic rim of the aftermarket caps that does not allow both caps to be fitted at the same time. Revain took back that strap. Not wanting to repeat the return process multiple times, I went upstairs and bought this original Polar

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
