🪑 Polaris Adjustable Seat Kit Review

Perfect for my 2012 Polaris Rzr 570. The seat takes about 2 inches above the passenger seat due to the retractable mechanism. The installation instructions are almost useless. It takes some time to figure out how to properly install the mechanism in the driver's seat without instructions. After installation it works great. I'm 6ft 1" and my wife is 5ft 4", so it's now easy to adjust the seat back and forth depending on who's riding the Rzr.

The adjuster I received ended up with the wrong lever to attach between each slider. It was 3 inches shorter than I could reach and I had to bend it to get it to work. Overall installation was easy with basic hand tools and the sliders themselves feel very sturdy. This will raise your seat slightly by 2 inches, so be prepared to sit above your passenger unless you plan to buy that seat for that seat as well. There were a few design/installation errors. Small holes were drilled which made fitting very difficult and the seat adjuster knob was too, too wide so we had to bend it to match the ends to the metal parts. It also adds a lot more height than we expected which is great for me as I'm so small but not sure if this would work for my husband. It might be too big for him and we might have to turn him back. We installed this seat shifter on our 2013 RZR 800 and it has been a great addition for us as we both have height issues and had to stretch earlier to reach the gas pedal. Excellent kit. My 5-foot-2-inch wife and 6-foot-4-inch myself always had trouble getting legroom or reaching the pedals in our 570 RZRs. This is nothing short of a great solution to a problem. Now the seat rises so far that she cannot raise it all the way. As for me, I now have even more legroom, which is great too. Item arrived in about 2-3 days and very well packaged. While the instructions don't give specific details, they provide enough information. to steer the installer in the right direction. Yes, the straight bar screws are very tight and difficult to remove. You can clamp the seat tracks in a vise and loosen them with a pry bar, or use an "impact wrench" (available at your local auto shop for about $20). They come loose after a few hits.
