Problem with the outside mirror screw

I didn't like that. Mirrors are great but getting the screw into the mount is an issue. To do this, you need to remove the screws from the car. However, the lower screw in the dashboard has been lost. . You have a lot of work to do to get him back. Haven't figured out how to get it yet. A better design would be to not have keyholes on the bracket and let it slide under the screws without taking them out completely.

Great if you have a windscreen

I have a glass windscreen and most mirrors are fitted around the roll cage which doesn't work. This mounts to the side of this one, but I had to cut or saw slots in the roll cage bracket to allow it to slide past the bolts. You may need to keep an eye on the mounting bolts as it appears the threads are not going back into the nylock portion of the nut. In my opinion the screws should be 1/4" longer and will probably replace mine. Haven't used them yet but they seem well made for the price.

  • Mirrors and accessories

Bracket installation and instructions need help!

mirrors are very good after installation. The installation instructions are terrible, and the notches on the transom mounts aren't wide enough to fit over loose roll cage bolts. You have to remove the bolts to install the bracket and since the nuts aren't in place, that's a big problem! Plan to fish nuts out of your body at least once. Oh, and the mount mirror is a 10mm wrench, not an 11mm wrench as the instructions say. Once installed, the mirrors look and function well.

I only bought them for the brackets

As everyone has said you really have to back out the bolts all the way or open the keyway slightly to put them in. After reading all the comments I just put two fingers over the rear screws and did everything else with my other hand. It wasn't that difficult and I put them on in about 10 minutes. Also, as everyone said, it's a 10mm screw on the bottom of the mirror, not 11. The mirrors themselves don't quite match the General's boxy looks and are flimsy. I am using mirrors from another set Iโ€ฆ

Installed on a 2017 Polaris General - three stars for (over)price

Installation went smoothly. You will need to loosen the mirror adjustment clamp nut (10mm) to allow the mirror to be secured with the screw. In addition, in my case, to install a new mirror bracket, I had to loosen the frame screws because the diameter of the screw shank was too large. so that the mirror holder simply slides (see pictures). TIP: Get duct tape and apply it to the nuts on the back of the frame before attempting to remove the bolts. When loosening the bolts on the frame, placeโ€ฆ
