same thickness as Oakley

same thickness poly carbonate and polarized, same fit as Oakley at a third of the price, cant see a difference between the two. I will be ordering more

Pros
  • Fit perfectly, exactly what I was hoping for and expecting.
Cons
  • The replacement lenses may not fit all Oakley Flak Jacket sunglasses perfectly, which could result in a less than optimal viewing experience.

Gold Lenses for Flak Jacket

Bought these in November of 2017, Gold Lenses, Flak Jacket I used them outside daily for work and I can say they don't hold up to the abuse. As of March 2018 they have worn out very fast and lost their outer film coating whereas my original Oakley lenses held up for about 3 years. Inexpensive alternative to new Oakley lenses, but you get what you pay for. Should be fine if you wear them occassionally, but don't expect them to hold up to daily wear and tear.

Pros
  • Lenses look great, fit the frames perfectly, I've yet to test the durability of them
Cons
  • Although made in the USA, the cost of these replacement lenses may be higher than other options on the market.
