Far from 'super smooth' - just basic tripod - NO EXTENSION

Aside from the advertised 'professional' and 'super smooth' features, the panning is terrible at best, despite the detailed blending of shots across different axes. Handles, the head sways and in some places it doesn't resist well. Start and stop are also terrible and have no plumage. Tilt is ok. Brand new out of the box this is the worst you can get if you plan on smooth pans etc. As a cheap tripod that does nothing but hold the camera in a fixed position, this is fine, but there are a lot…

This tripod lacks good quality in its most critical area: where the camera attaches to the tripod head. Overall, I like the size, features, and price, but the nylon quick release doesn't stand up to heavy use. Over tightening will result in product failure as the tripod screw will be pulled through the plastic. NOT GOOD.
