Description of Polk Audio AM4110 Nue Headphones

Nue Era's small, sculpted housing, made of a polymer resin chosen for its excellent audio damping properties, has been shaped especially with t and comfort in mind. We include different sized and shaped ear tips; they're made of supple materials that enhance their passive noise isolation. Together, housing and ear tips create an easy, effortless fit. Our ear tips also contribute to the rich, full sound. They're co-molded to the headphone ear tube; the ear tip opening holds its shape, which gives you better sound and a better seal for noise isolation. Nue Era has an easy-to-use 3-button control and built-in microphone. The control is contoured to fit your finger for intuitive audio and phone control. A single, lightweight cable connects headphones to supported iOS devices. A Y-junction lets you adjust the cable to your needs and reduces annoying micro-phonics. Connectivity Technology : Wired.

Good sound quality but no bass

For a music lover on a budget these are pretty good headphones. You get what you pay for, and it doesn't cost more than $100-$150 in headphones. Headphones. At the same time, with my headphones (bought refurbished), everything worked as expected. The microphone is sensitive and the speakers reproduce a pleasant sound spectrum. Highs are clean, mids are resonant and crisp, and bass is minimal. These headphones feel solid and reliable. They also come in a pretty cloth pouch to prevent tangling…

Tips are everything

I recently bought these headphones to replace a wonderful set of Klipsch headphones that I sadly forgot at the gym. But I have Polk Audio speakers all over my house and I have a lot of respect for this company. So I picked up a few attachments that are similar to those on the outdated Klipsch phones. The mids and highs were good and crisp, but there was no bass at all. This fell short of what some reviews said about the bass being punchy and, if anything, overpowering and prone to distortion at

Great as a headset and as headphones

I don't normally use headphones and don't have much experience with them, but after some experience with Polk Audio I wanted to review them. First, they definitely knock out all the water, like headphones for iPod/iPhone. What I like most about these headphones is that they are both high quality headphones and a great headset. The sound quality is excellent, which is to be expected from headphones. There's no soundstage, so I wouldn't recommend them for any type of audio production (although…

Good sound, moderate price

Polk Nue Era's sound signature is similar to the Klipsch X10 (which I also own). After many hours of careful listening I found the bass to be flat with very good extension. Frequency response remains smooth and flat in the lower midrange, above that there is a gradual downward slope (at least to my ears) until the upper midrange is noticeably rolled back. Playback then returns to the treble range and even tilts to the protruding side, but not enough to cause any problems. The overall sound is…
