Great sound for the money

I've been upgrading my system since my 12 year old Onkyo Monster started losing surround channels. I love how clean these speakers sound with my new system. Excellent clarity, decent bass and volume for the money. Perfect for a 7.2 system as front speakers in my apartment. For high volume home use, use Klipsch towers for the front. Pros
  • Recommended gain: 20 150 watts/channel

  • Big and chunky

It was a great purchase

This has to be one of the best purchases I've ever made based on value per dollar. Period. Okay, not the best overall use for them, but they replaced a Logitech speaker that came with a really good subwoofer. Anyway…

Pros
  • A pair of reasonably priced yet powerful bookshelf speakers
Cons
  • Periodicity

Incredibly deep tones and rich mids for a speaker of this size. In fact, I was stunned. After a few months, I realized I wanted floorstanding speakers for home theater in the living room. However, since my living room is quite small (I live in a small studio), I decided to try these speakers in this…
