If you have a Polycom these are needed for the conference room. Now even a faint whisper can be heard when board members aren't paying attention and chattering. It keeps everyone accountable.

Easy to install and works great. There were no complaints from people on the other end of the line about the purity of my voice. 4 stars because the individual mics don't turn off independently like I thought. The microphones and phone are either all on or all off. Well built and easy to use.

Purchased to upgrade an "expandable" Polycom. Make sure your polyome is of type "expandable". The audio quality is the expected high quality for a Polycom device. Deducted 1 star because they seem a bit more expensive than they are and the wire could be a bit longer. I think it's about 5 or 6 feet. Generally recommended.

Our conference room is approximately 12 x 12. When we received the base station and tried it out, people on the other end of the line noticed that they couldn't hear anyone within 5 feet of the base station. So we bought extensions to attach to the ends of the table. No further comments. We recommend using recommendations, but order them if you decide you need them based on actual use.

I would like someone who would make it easier for me to purchase longer RJ-9 cables to further extend the microphones. In a quiet room, this device's speaker can be clearly heard from 30 feet away. But in my conference rooms, I need a microphone that picks up the voice of the person speaking on the podium up to 30 feet away. We have a very large conference room. This system improved our spaceship-like Polycom conference room phone and greatly expanded what used to be just a module. The noise cancellation is excellent and the listener can't tell where you are in the room because it transmits so well. The only issue I had was that the cables for the pods were a bit short.
