6 inch foam balls.

I like these because they are smooth, a little harder to pin but stay in place better. A little heavier than styrofoam, but I like it better.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Crinkle Pack

Exactly what I needed.

I bought these to make "coconuts" for a 7ft lighted palm tree. They had to be smooth, which is what those craft balls are. I covered them with brown tissue paper and was amazed at how much they looked like real coconuts from a craft site I visited (probably Pintrest). The tree and coconuts are used to raise funds. A coconut is added for every $250. It's a very attractive look.

Pros
  • Kraft
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

These smooth styrofoam balls went well with the flower.

These smooth styrofoam balls went well with the floral arrangement I made for the gift exchange at the office; If you are trying to glue silk flowers to these balloons I would suggest using styrofoam hot glue. Pushing it in also works, but halfway through the ball, the flowers will fall out and it's difficult to get the little plastic tip at the base of the flowers into most places on these balls.

Pros
  • Craft Foam
Cons
  • old
