🌼 PopSockets: Collapsible Grip & Stand for Phones and Tablets – Daisy Design Review

Received my pop socket today and am not very happy that it does not stay open. Using it to hold the phone is fine of course, but when I try to prop my phone up with a pop socket it closes itself and won't stand up.

I was so excited when I received this. My first pop socket was a gift from Shein. So when I changed my phone case, I needed a new one. There was also extra glue, for example for the new iPhone (8, etc.) and also for cases that don't stick anywhere. Once it was on, I was glad it felt secure. When I pulled it out the next day, it came loose and wasn't holding anymore.

I wanted to love this pop socket and if I was going to base it on the aesthetics alone I would give it a 5 star rating , BUT the functionality fails with a bang. I've bought cheap products from other brands that work better than this pop socket. The adhesive doesn't stick well and after being on my phone for less than 24 hours it has already peeled off 3 times. Very disappointed!

This is my first pop socket so I'm not sure if they are all like this. When I carry something between two fingers, it hurts a little because the material isn't smooth, it's slightly rough. So it is not convenient to use it all the time. I had to move it to a different location on my phone and it sticks just as tight as the first time I put it on. So I was really excited to get this pop rosette and I've had it before so this isn't my first rodeo. The pink and white floral print is very pretty and I get lots of compliments. The main downside, which scared me a bit, was the real pop socket part (for those who don't know, the image disc can detach from the pop socket part).
