It holds up well and you can feel it needs a little tug so if it loosens a little it will don't be too much. I already had one and it lasted about a year.

When the popsocket is fully open, it doesn't make room for my fat and somewhat arthritic fingers. I usually hold it in the mesh between my index finger and thumb, it's the only comfortable fit. If you have long thin fingers this will likely work for you.

This is my first pop socket so I thought maybe it was "one and done". Insert once and stay. That wasn't the case with me. I've tried a few times. Googled how to leave it. I dipped it in water, let it dry and glued it on. Finally, after about 4 days of messing around, he decided he was going to do his job and act like his life depended on it.

Very hard, very durable. Extends approximately 2-2/12 inches, more or less, when fully extended. There's enough room to move your fingers away, and the phone holds up well in landscape mode, on a desk, or whatever. She's happy and that's all that matters.
