I can only wear real gold otherwise my skin will be irritated. I've been wearing them for about a week and have noticed that my left ear is very irritated. I'm not sure if the earrings are real gold, but the ad says nothing about gold plating. I will take them to a jeweler and may have to return them.

How can you cut corners on simple gold ball earrings? To keep them as light as possible, the pins are narrower and shorter than usual, and the backs of the earrings are so tiny that you'll need a surgeon's skill to attach them. Plain ball earrings. You don't have to be that pithy, but they would fly out of your hand in the slightest breeze.

Nice earrings but the back is too small to be functional. My husband bought them as a gift but I have to send them back as I can't wear them.

Overall I really liked this product. The only downsides were that the shank felt too short for my comfort and the clip on the back of the earring is very small and doesn't hold up very well. They are beautiful and functional. If I were to order again I would order a few sizes larger. They are perfect for children's ears.

Earrings came in a box, in an open box the earrings were under the valve and the backs didn't match. They keep falling off the earring.

I ordered these for my granddaughter. We sent them back as they were very small. It's hard to know what size to order when they're in centimeters. But they seemed well made and as to be expected for Spikes.

Solid 14k Gold. Brilliant and perfect size. Butterflies on the back. It took me a long time to find them as others were of sacred gold that were dented or gilded. It is a good size, good polish, solid 14k gold pin and ball. There were no markings on the butterfly's back, but I can always use a different pair of backs if needed.
