For years we've been using canopies with the metal frames which were so nice for shade. They take up a lot of room and are heavy to carry and you need more than 1 person to put it up. This is so lightweight to carry, easy to pack, does not take up a lot of room and great for shade. It was windy on the beach and this is great. We would not of been able to use the canopy on the beach with the wind, it would've folded up and broken. So glad I made this purchase and plan on purchasing another one…

So glad I bought this product! I got it for when our family went on vacation to the beach. It packs up very compactly and is light so it didn’t weigh us down walking down to the beach. Between my husband and myself it took less than 5 minutes to set it up and even faster to take it down. We left it up all day and even though it was rather windy it didn’t fall. I recommend digging a hole for the poles and filling it in instead of just driving them into the sand though. They are much sturdier…

This item was not as described. It should have four poles instead of two in order to balance the fabric shade. We were left with either a droopy front or back. The sandbags weren't much help either. Also, the seam was loose on the end of the fabric shade. There was barely enough room for two chairs and didn't provide the shade as advertised.

I used this for the first time on my 10 day beach trip! It was great! Easy to put up and withstood all winds! I love it! That's my feedback.

A little tricky to put up the first time but once we figured out the the more sand in the bags the better, it was perfect for our needs. Travels easily so light and compact a child could carry it.

Returned this item. Instructions for assembling were terrible and it looked like there were tears in the fabric. Packaging was terrible. It was just balled up like a return that got resold.

I used it twice and bent a pole. The poles are aluminium and you can't put much pressure on them when sticking them in the sand. Not sure where you can buy a replacement.

I really like this tent. I live on the beach so it gets daily use. I didn’t want to carry a huge traditional tent and umbrellas flip and never give enough shade. This is perfect it folds up small and light. I can set it up by myself in 5 minutes! Every time I’m at the beach I always get stopped by tourists to ask about it. I like how I can adjust the poles or add more poles depending on the sun.

Sandbags are good idea but not strong enough against the wind especially with only 2 poles. The tent would not block the sun, neither would it stay put. The elastic strip inside one of the poles arrived broken.

I like the small, light package for getting it to the beach. I used it for the first time this weekend and one of the poles is assembled female to female and doesn't work. Overall, I'm impressed with the product, but the company's quality standards are crap.

This worked the way it was supposed to on the beach. It was easy to pack, set up and break down. It held up in the strong winds and provided shade. However for maximum ease and comfort it really needs 4 poles instead of just the two provided. It was very awkward and took more time and numerous adjustments to get it right.

I live near the beach and wanted something I could easily set up myself. This tent is perfect! Very easy to set up and the material is quick dry.

This is amazing. Lightweight, easy to set up and 1 person can do it. We use it constantly and everyone wants to know where we got it.

Well when I open it one of the pools elastic came broke. At the beach was ease to open an put it together. The pulls need tomething to screw the pulls into the sand before get attach to the material. But is no heavy, I am about to wash it in the washer a dry it out in a natural way. In no good to get Lycra in the dryer. Will see. The wend is no helpful for this tent.

Great shade for half the price of others. I recommend buying two additional poles. It will give a lot you a lot larger coverage area. Fill the bags as much as possible. They will not move.

I love how easy this is to set up - even singlehandedly. It's lightweight, portable, and provides a nice roomy square of shade. It held up well to the "standard" ocean breeze, but when a storm cloud brought a gust, the poles took a dive. I also loved how quickly and easily we were able to disassemble and stow the tent in a hurry when the lightning started! Perfect shade for 2 people - might be a little crowded for 4.

Very easy to set up. Lighter than an umbrella and more space & shade underneath. No need to move it. Just move your beach chair as the sun moves.
