Worked well but awkward
This worked the way it was supposed to on the beach. It was easy to pack, set up and break down. It held up in the strong winds and provided shade. However for maximum ease and comfort it really needs 4 poles instead of just the two provided. It was very awkward and took more time and numerous adjustments to get it right.
