I cannot recover my data that I created on this backup. I did this to transfer my files, now they're gone. This is not an accurate description of this product. It is NOT plug and play, it did not install itself. It didn't even show up. As I said, I restarted my computer when it didn't work. It's NOT super fast. It's very slow. I would look for something else. Big disappointment in that regard.

Well it was a good disk. It had an issue where it was emitting a frequency and if I just unplugged it and plugged it back in it was fine. But a month later I'm here with a dead Xbox. It was the first version of the Xbox One, but before this hard drive I never had such problems. At first my Xbox just acted like it didn't have enough juice to run it, so I pulled out the hard drive and headset hub and it booted. Good product, fast delivery. This works very well. Everything loads quickly (even on older Windows laptops). I don't know how long this will take, but so far so good. Transferring my files to my new laptop is very easy! Also has enough space to store many of my media files. The transmission speed is high. I dropped it once and it didn't hurt at all. However, you must use it carefully. Recommend this external hard drive with good storage capacity, great design and high portability.

I was a little skeptical because it's so cheap and not only that, but I had never heard of this company! It's very light and small, the included USB cable has a different end than other portable hard drives I've used, so don't lose the cable! Other than that I have no complaints, I just bought it to put Ark on it (this game sucks when it comes to storage space) and it did its job well. I will definitely buy from this company again as they give me excellent value for money.

Redundancy is key. Buy for $30 3. Make your own mirror system. If you have more than 3 USB ports, great. Backup for all 3. Take 1 to work or anywhere, then upload it to another 2. If one fails, so what. Automatic synchronization. Find a company that can do this for you for less than $100. I'm not that computer savvy. But it's a plug and play system. And very fast.
