Excellent sanding paper. Much nicer (and cheaper) than the Diablo sandpaper I bought for my random orbital sander. 80 grit could remove a large amount of material. I used it to remove the top layer of paint from some small pieces and the paint clogged the paper but I think the paint will clog any sandpaper you use. I bought this to line the soles of several hand planes (#4, 5 and 7). They weren't in the best shape so I needed the aggressiveness of 80 grit so I wouldn't have to work with them forever. As expected, this paper cuts quickly. This took quite a while and helped brush the metal dust off the paper leaving the sand fully exposed. Others were impressed with the durability. I found it good, but not as good as wet/dry greased paper, hence the 4 stars for this item. There were 4 stars for the adhesion

I have used this with my DeWalt sanders for many years. Why pay a fortune for single sheets from Lowes or Home Depot? This sandpaper lasts a lot longer, it's much, much stronger and you just cut it to size, stick one layer onto the sanding pad as a base, then add another layer, fix it and you're done. Not only that, your pads will last 10x longer. When it wears out, take it off (I find it helps if a few layers of sandpaper build up on the pad). This saves you a fortune when you throw away…
