Good value for money - user-friendly design

Don't throw away old "dead" batteries with the porter cable! I was able to use my old batteries that no longer powered the tools for this radio and still have about a day to use the radio. Biggest problem: Not a big problem, but I'd like to see buttons. at night. Unfortunately, the keys are not backlit. Get a tape measure, the stereo is a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but that's not the main issue at all.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

The radio sounds great and holds a charge all day long!

I have to say at $60 this was a bargain, possibly the best radio with all these features that you could ask for in an off duty radio. It's a lot smaller than the photos might suggest, but it has nothing to do with the sound coming from this radio. I use an iPhone and can be about 20 feet from the radio and stream music to the device. Huge upgrade from Ridgid. Great buy for me! Love it. No complaints.

Pros
  • Annual Trial
Cons
  • Sad Equipment

Get what you pay for

sound quality corresponds to the price. Some limited control over bass and treble, but no more. The speakers are small and tinny. The battery wasn't included, so I can't judge. I have an old P&C battery, but the plug that came with it won't charge the battery. I don't know what "Transparency" means, so I didn't rate it. Also, it would be nice if it had a SIM card slot so I could pop in a card without having to pair my phone or plug in an auxiliary device every time I use the box.

Pros
  • understandable for the old
Cons
  • only available in black

Pretty decent. I've used it with 20V 2.0A batteries at fairly loud levels and the batteries lasted a decent time, around 6 hours. Here's my problem; Bluetooth is a little lame. The music is sometimes choppy, skipping, etc. Also, I actually lost my Bluetooth connection for no apparent reason. Otherwise, the sound is pretty good for the size and the radio reception is pretty decent, and no I'm not anywhere near cell towers, about 50 miles away.

Pros
  • Portable bluetooth speaker
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Generally satisfied Portable speakers and docking stations

The radio took away the speaker quite young. It was worth one star. (Bass was turned on on the equalizer, and a colleague turned it up to maximum. Thought the speakers could handle the built-in amplifier) It's quite difficult to install preset radio stations. Good sound, not concert quality, but really good stereo sound. Works great for talk radio/sports announcers. Bluetooth works fine. Never used the auxiliary input. Robust, durable plastic housing. Fell down a few times. For example, it uses

For what I paid for it. That's enough

I got what I paid for. It's really compact and doesn't sound as powerful as some other brands of wireless jobsite radios. But it didnโ€™t cost โ‚ฌ199 either. On the control panel. A+. It's easy to understand and easy to use. "EQ" is just the ability to boost/cut the levels of high and low frequencies, but it works. I like the ability to set preset stations. The antenna is great! With digital search/scan function and digital adjustment. It seems to have the ability to fine-tune the incoming signalโ€ฆ
