Mix these 100 grams with 50 grams of Iodine Crystals to make 32 oz. distilled water to make my own lugals iodine. Lasts forever in a dark brown or cobalt blue bottle. Bought some 2 ounce dropper bottles to keep at home. Besides additives, good for water purification and some other amazing things. Saved a fortune by making it myself.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Little Stuff

This is what they use for "elephant toothpaste", great show for kids! If you mix some liquid dish soap and hydroperoxide 35%, which is not common for cuts, ask iy or online and mix it all together, pour into a tall 2 liter bottle, then add food coloring and some potassium iodide! You won't believe your eyes! mountains of foam! Do not touch the foam until it has cooled. hot. Kids love it and so will you

Pros
  • Inorganic Reagents
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Ideal for preparing iodine reagents, economical

Excellent product. Arrived quickly and was packaged very well. I coach a high school Science Olympiad team that uses the iodine reagent when testing powders. We literally ran out of the last few drops that came with the sample test kit, and the iodine reagent itself didn't arrive in time for our last practice together, even with Prime. I was very hesitant to make the iodine reagent myself (I'm only a volunteer SO trainer, my career is in real estate and business), but it wasn't difficult…

Pros
  • Laboratory and scientific products
Cons
  • Long delivery time
