Very sharp sound in car electronics

There were such for a while, tired. Very sharp and hard. You get what you pay for. Replaced by Skar Audio, what's the difference. The scars are very even and precise. Skip them and check them out. Spend a little more and you'll be happier.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Crumpled

Conflicting specs don't inspire confidence

The Power Acoustik website states the frequency range as 5-25kHz, but the manual that came with the product itself says 3.5-20kHz. what he I do not know. But it is clear that someone is setting the standards.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Minor issues

Good sound on coax speakers

I've used this brand all along and they are good. I had them in my truck for a while and now they are for my kid's truck. It's been two years since I bought the first one and it still works fine. By the way, I added a filter to get rid of the mid and low tones.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Only available in white

Penetrating and screaming highs!

Good. They were like 9 bucks so I can't fall on them. Used in an old truck for some high frequencies. and the highs i got! Pierce like hell! almost annoying, highs lowered to stereo and it got better. ideal for old beaters and the like, will not be used in a new Corvette or Tesla.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • No work

it worked, fit and sounded very close to what is in the car.

The tweeters in my 530 BMW were replaced with non-original tweeters and one failed. This tweeter was the right size to fit the room after aftermarket removal. I keep the second tweeter in case one of the other three in the car fails.

Pros
  • 1 year trial period
Cons
  • Requires socket

A tweeter exploded in an hour

The tweeter came in a cheap purple box but when these were professionally installed WOW! These are very loud tweeters but based on my 2 star rating there is an issue. Less than an hour after installation, one of them exploded/burned down right in front of my eyes while driving. ONE. DANGER. HOUR. To say I was very upset is an understatement, but the other tweeter had no issues. Of course I wish Revain or a third party would replace them, but I think I got what I paid for. These tweets are…

A simple budget solution for enriching high frequencies.

I bought these to add to a speaker system I am building and tested them with an amplifier separate from the main amplifier. When using those 10 watts or more they seem annoying and hard to hear. I don't have a lot of experience with Twitter, and I expect most will, as the high frequency alone isn't exactly reassuring. Playing with the gain I was able to find a good level where these tweeters complemented the main speakers well enough and I was happy with the sound. They have to play their…

  • Quality construction

  • Negative impression

Totally worth the money

My brother is a professional car audio installer and highly recommended these tweeters. Unless you have a very fancy (or expensive) receiver and amplifier, expensive $60-$90 tweeters are useless. He told me he installs them in all his cars and they are absolutely worth the money. The boy was right. I used them to replace the factory tweeters on my 2010 Honda Accord and they are a huge improvement. All I had to do was buy some Autozone crimping machines and a wire splicer and I did the…
