Not long. for car audio

When I first installed it, I was quite happy with the device. Dead silence and good sound. Small complaints about the volume control, as others have complained, but overall a decent equalizer. So here we tinkered for about 2 hours in the garage and 15 hours on the road and it started banging the subwoofer when I hit a bump. Very good quality 4-band preamp

To be honest this preamp isn't the best out there, but it's still a good contender and can hold its own assert against other big brands. Given the circuitry mentioned in the review above, it's a bit cheap because you get hit (which isn't a big issue for me). I previously had a Clarion EQS746 preamp and have to say that while the Clarion has a 7-band EQ for adjusting frequency and volume, I find it a bit simpler and very accurate. Pros
  • 18dB 4-band parametric EQ
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
