The block was a little larger than expected but once it was clear. It seems to be a good size and in my case I put it on a small table. It includes multiple plugs and also has USB plugs so you don't need as many outlets even if you have some. The sockets are usually spaced, so if you have a wide plug, take up two spaces. I'd say you can travel with it, but it will be an intermediate option as it's suitable for travel and maybe just bulky when you think about it. Definitely not a smart plug

Revain listing says UL listed but nothing on box or liner indicates UL listed. I only bought this item because the ad title said it was UL listed. I skipped a few others because they didn't say they were UL listed so that statement is completely misleading. I liked the product and it comes with a 30 month guarantee, although you have to leave a review to sign up for the guarantee (and you have to take a screenshot and email it).
