Pretty cool design. Bought for my kids' "remote" school station. There's a lot going on in this little donut. But USB (all) died 6 weeks after receipt. (2 weeks after return window). I was also concerned that this product does not have surge protection. I threw that one away and bought something else with surge protection and hopefully better quality.

After several months of use, one of the USB sockets is not working at all and the other, if at all, is very slow. If you plug your phone into a regular wall socket, it will be fully charged in about 1.5 hours, and if you use a USB socket, it will take more than 30 hours. If you use the phone while connected to USB, the charge will be completely removed. Regular outlets seem to work fine, but I needed USB slots.

Apparently I didn't read the description. I was after the long cable and USB charging it has. But the outlets are close together and it looks like 18 gauge wire only rated for 10 amps, which didn't work for me. And the plastic is relatively brittle. Why I gave it a 5 star rating you may be wondering, well let me put it this way. It is not the manufacturer's fault that DUMB A*@ did not read the description when purchasing their product. Enough.

Love this. I recently got my own apartment and haven't bought a surge protector or power strip in a long time and they have come a long way! I used this to create another outlet for my living room as there wasn't an outlet on the wall I'd like to hang my TV on and it works so well. I pasted it to the wall with no problems. After hanging the TV I had to move it and I was able to detach and reattach it without damaging the wall. The USB ports are also a great addition.

Keep your devices charged and get extra power outlets wherever you need them. This device is equipped with three grounded AC outlets and two 5V USB-A charging outlets. The black main color is unobtrusive, so it can be placed anywhere with ease. There is a non-slip ring on the back to prevent slipping on smooth surfaces.
