PowerA Armor Case Nintendo 3DS Retro Review

Got a friend for Christmas, it's very strong, thick and well made. We're clumsy and we have cats and that definitely protected his DS.

It's expensive for a 3DS case but I think it's worth it for anyone who loves Nintendo systems. It's like a giant gameboy, the buttons and joystick work and I love it, I have 5 systems and I will buy one for each.

If you've ever needed a protective case for your 3DS, this is it. The buttons on this thing can be pressed just like the original Game Boy. The case can be opened and fits perfectly into the 3DS. There are 6 slots for 3DS game cartridges, but my only concern is that it's too tight. I had to pull the 3DS cartridge out with my wrench, which wrinkled the cartridge a bit. Therefore, I do not recommend using cartridge slots. Simply installing the 3DS is enough.

As others have said, the clasp looks very cheap. I can't imagine this taking much wear and tear, I've opened it about 5 times and it's already picky. My main criticism is the size of the product. There is so much space around the console that it shouldn't be. The 3DS itself fits so nicely in your pocket. If you wore it on this occasion, now you need a bag. I think if you need a case for it in your backpack that's fine. Otherwise it is not very convenient.

I like that a lot, especially because you can press the wrong button. That's a pretty cool detail. The case is nicely made, looks sturdy and holds games well. The only complaint about the castle. feels a little weak. It arrives in good condition, the product itself is amazing. It fits all my 3ds as stated on the box. The game cartridge goes in nice and tight but a little tight to get it out.
