Great tool, can't do without it. It worked on my 1995 Ford F250 xlt 7.3 PowerStroke 4X4 with a Dana 50 TTB front end. For those wondering if this will work on their truck.

Poorly done. 4 pins were not cut completely. I had to tap them onto the spindle nut. Luckily, steel was cheap too, and the spindle nut cut just the right amount to install and remove the nut properly. 2 stars just because it worked

I have seen many of these spindle nuts and this is by far the best! Don't buy the ones with small pins sticking out. This covers the outside of the nut so you can actually get to it when tightening the spindle nut! Used on a 1996 OBS Old Body Style F350 with a Dana 60 axle.

The coupler is made of cast steel, not a piece of tubing with a cap welded to it like others I've bought. Needed a large 4WD locknut head to do a Spyntech lockout rebuild on my 2011 Ram 2500. Exactly what I needed for the spindle nut on my 91 Ford F250 4x4 with Dana 50 front axle. Powerbuilt 648473 Spindle Nut, which is a 2-3/8 but is rated for a Dana 44 axle. This 2-1/2" four-lug socket fits perfectly. I couldn't find this nest locally either. If you're trying to work out which axle you have, Dana 50 (4600lb) axles on 4x4s also use external locking clips. Dana 50 were used on F250 (GVW over 8500#) and F350 trucks from 80-85.

I bought this based on another user's review. This connector was stated to be used in the Dodge Ram Yukon Free Spin Kit. I bought a socket based on this as I installed the same kit. When the truck was completely torn apart I got to the point where I needed this head. And she didn't work with the spindle nuts in the kit. The spindle nuts are slotted .25" wide. I measured each of the 4 slots of the bushing and each is just under 1/4" wide and the inside diameter of the bushing is 2.5".
