They need to stay plugged in to stay warm - as soon as you unplug them, they're ready. I bought these for outdoor workouts and the cords hang awkwardly from the bottom. There is nothing you can do when this is on and connected to the network. Am I that confused about their design or their plan?

They should be hired. Who the heck wears gloves that need to be plugged in for them to work. i.e. drive. It's like driving in handcuffs. worst possible design. You can't wear them if you don't plug them in. like outside. i got mine back

My hands are cold and I'm working on the computer. Great fingerless gloves (thumb included!). Plugs connect easily, cords are easy enough to maneuver arms and hands. Only downside is only one heating pad on top of arms (back of hands). I would prefer a palm tree. Also in the pink-purple set, only the purple ones have a fold-down mitten.

The heating pad has been moved to the palm of the gloves. It heats up 1.5 hours at 2500mAh on a backup battery. Inexpensive but keeps hands warm (can be too warm at times) for surfing the web or walking when it's cold outside. Advantages: price, light weight, portable power does not consume too quickly. Cons: small heating pad, only one pair of mittens.

For some reason my right arm starts to hurt after about an hour at work. Well these gloves seem to prevent that pain and make typing easier. I don't know what illness I have but I think for those who have similar problems this might be the solution for you. They have definitely helped me deal with any ailments I have! Know that you are not alone and these gloves really help!

You plug them into your laptop's USB port and they get hot. Very nice if your laptop is in a cold room like me. Each glove comes with a cable from your laptop, making it look like you're chained to your work. Cannot be used outdoors due to wiring. The woman couldn't use it because she needs a carpal splint and it bothers her. Please note this before placing an order. They are very cheap and you get two pairs.

I used them at a construction site. At thirty degrees they kept me warm. They've maintained the same temperature, so they stay the same no matter how cold or hot they are. It took me a few minutes to feel them early in the morning, but I had to turn them off by mid-morning. I think they should be easy to use. They each lasted 3 uses before breaking. I really wanted to like them but I just can't. The fabric of the gloves themselves is nice. Soft and flexible. I can use a mouse with them on my arm. That's why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. Unfortunately, the heating element is just a 2" x 2" patch on the top of your hand. Because the fingers of the gloves are cut out, you don't get any insulation.
