I loved him and then he died.

I ordered this product in April 2016. In December he died. While it worked, I liked this little charger. Ironically, this isn't the first review where I've said something along the lines of "I liked it and then it died." Apparently my device has an internal short circuit. It can be anything, a shorted capacitor, a power transistor, or shorted transformer windings. I have attempted to repair the unit as I have experience repairing electronics but without a schematic and troubleshooting flow…

Compact, powerful, easy to install

I bought a PM3-100 (100A) to power my lame 13.1V 45A converter charger in my 2001 Rexhall class A camper to replace. The new converter was easy to install, especially as I had replaced the previous one so all the wires were ready to connect: - power cord to AC outlet - chassis ground to terminal lug - 12v rail (+) and (-) to output terminals on converter - 4 screws (not included) to fix the converter to the bottom. You can adjust the DC output voltage with a screwdriver through one of the side…

LOVE this thing! Totally factory upgrade at a fraction of the cost!

Wow! Incredibly happy with this purchase! My RV was badly damaged when lightning struck a tree 2ft away. My factory PSU was completely burned and covered in soot. The original replacement cost about $475! The original was always too weak for my camper. We always had to be careful what we used, otherwise the "low voltage alarm" would go off too easily. A camper referred me to this one at Revain and said he'd used it non-stop for years at a quarter the cost after his factory inverter failed. The…

Best chargers I've had in 20 years.

I have a degree in EE and have worked in electronics and electrical engineering for over 40 years. I live offline consciously. I have wind and solar power, a huge battery pack, a reliable 30kW Onan and reliable chargers for those days when there is no wind and no sun. I have used most premium inverter/chargers from 55A to 100A for over 20 years. These PowerMax devices are survivors and deserve a 5 star rating. I have an older version (> 2 years old) and a newer version < 1 year old). The…
