Calibration disabled! suitable for line lasers

After receiving the level I checked the calibration and it was off by 1/4 at 15 feet. I did a simple test where you rotate the bubble level 180 degrees and measure again. That's a lot more than +-1/64 at 32 feet. For this reason I cannot recommend this brand. To me, that's better than Dewalt's accuracy on paper, but not in real life.

Pros
  • projects with crossing, vertical, horizontal or diagonal laser lines
Cons
  • small parts

Setup takes time

Laser head is no problem with this kit. The problem is the tripod, although it's not heavy enough to support a camera its not a point, the laser head doesn't need much weight in the tripod to stabilize the laser, what it needs is a rack and pinion, to get the line the right height Time consuming PIA like now. Still plenty and worth the money and precision to align cabinets or whatever you have. After using the comment; The worktop specialists came, took measurements in a short time and…

Pros
  • Self-alignment for faster setup and improved accuracy
Cons
  • Not reliable

The POWERSMITH laser meter saves time!

I work as a technician at a large hardware store. I measure floors, bathrooms, countertops, new kitchens and kitchen remodels. My tape measure gets a lot of use, I mean A LOT! After some time of constant use, the edges of the tape were covered with small nicks and fingers were cut. Once these little nicks appear on the tape, the tape will soon tear apart. A band that is 30 to 35 feet long costs about $30 or $40. Trying to put duct tape on, under, or around furniture, boxes, and piles of clothes

Pros
  • Pendulum lock for safe transport. Class II lasers 635-650nM and less than 1mW.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
