The janitor's best friend

Road workers have traffic cones, lawyers have business suits and a weekend worker has this light. Nothing says "I'm at work" or "Do not disturb" or "Don't expect me to go shopping" like a super bright task light in a dark corner of the house. The harsh shadows cast by the unnaturally white light make changing a lightbulb a whole house replacement. This light is everything and more. Get it and be prepared not to be disturbed again this weekend.

Don't worry, it's not worth it

My PowerSmith PWLR108S arrived today. I unpacked it and it didn't work. I charged it but it still doesn't work. I called the company who urged me to call them instead of returning them to Revain. The company insisted that I send them a receipt, which is reasonable. But they want me to send the defective light back with a label which they will provide. I mean, due to PowerSmith's poor quality control, I had to go through a lot of hassle to replace a broken $30 flashlight. It's not worth the…

This lamp is a real bargain

I bought the 2400 lumen option. That's incredible. Considering how powerful this thing is, I might have been perfectly happy with the cheaper 1800 lumen option. I didn't know what to expect but it exceeded all my expectations. It's lightweight, durable and assembles in literally 5 seconds by inserting the handle with attached screw into the hole and twisting to tighten. I am very satisfied and now I no longer have to use my phone under the car and around the house while working on projects. I…

They went down the stairs and entered. still works!

Great flashlight! It doesn't get hot and is very, very durable. I've dropped it multiple times from 6-8 feet, stepped on it climbing stairs, dropped PEX fittings right on the lens and nothing could damage it! Just think about it: a 300W halogen bulb has almost 6,000 lumens, which equals 1,080 lumens. Daylight 5000K helps a lot but still isn't as bright as the energy guzzling halogen. They have about 1/3 the brightness but are also 1/3 the price of a good halogen package (without all the…

Ultra Light.: Building Materials

I was looking for a small portable plug in work light and came across the Power Smith LED work light. With 1080 lumens of brightness and 5000K white light, this small but powerful light will brighten up any room. It has a 5ft heavy-duty 3-prong cord with a "sealed" on/off button that feels free to me (I'd prefer a toggle switch) that can be used in any situation, where you need fast, bright lighting. I love the features of the all-metal construction with a 360° adjustable head to position the…

Great little job light

As a mechanic I often fiddle with cars in the garage and always need a work light to get it right. I've gone from old metal incandescent lights (which stop working if you drop the light) to fluorescent task lights that don't like the cold (nor do they like being dropped) to battery operated lights (which are often too dim) . ) to mount headlights with household LED lamps in them. I decided to try one of these LED work lights and have been happy with it so far. There's a lot of light, but it's…

This thing is REALLY bright, though.

In general, I like this lamp very much. It's very bright. Sometimes blinding. I do not recommend looking directly at the bulb for too long! However, at this price point, you really can't get this bright work light anywhere else. I only use it 3-4 times a week for maybe an hour, so with constant daily use I can't speak to its long-term potential. I've had it for over 8 months now and it still works like new. What I don't like about it: it's VERY hot! It's like burning your hand if you even touch

Pros
  • Trial year
Cons
  • Almost never
