Great flashlight! It doesn't get hot and is very, very durable. I've dropped it multiple times from 6-8 feet, stepped on it climbing stairs, dropped PEX fittings right on the lens and nothing could damage it! Just think about it: a 300W halogen bulb has almost 6,000 lumens, which equals 1,080 lumens. Daylight 5000K helps a lot but still isn't as bright as the energy guzzling halogen. They have about 1/3 the brightness but are also 1/3 the price of a good halogen package (without all the necessary replacement bulbs). All in all worth every penny! I now have 3 of these and will definitely be buying more powerful PowerSmith LED work lights soon!
