🚜 Enhance Traction with Powertrax 9203822905 No-Slip System for Chrysler 8 1/4" 29 Spline Open Axle Review

This item is fairly easy to install but can be very difficult to obtain when you need it. However, it works better than any lunchtime locker I've ever had, and even quieter than the fully automated lockers I've had. Traction is excellent. I drive a '97 manual XJ and apart from the occasional corner squeak, the thing runs buttery smooth.

This locker is great! I used to have an Australian locker in the same jeep and it drove me crazy - it kept clicking and clinking around every corner. This Powertrax is SO QUIET - drove it about 300 miles and heard it all maybe 5 times. For off-road, this is a real locker - it doesn't slip at all and allows you to scale walls. Installation is very easy, even easier than Australian lockers. In total it took about 75 minutes. You will not be disappointed!

Pleasantly satisfied with quiet operation. I installed and owned two old right hand locks. 1 on Ranger 89, 1 on Dakota 92. Both worked the same, positive locking with audible ratchet when turning. Hard locking and unlocking. This device is much better. I just installed and tested. I will repost if anything changes. I don't expect to change anything. The installation took about 3 hours.

Details arrived rusty, were also badly dented in the circle. They look like they were already installed and sent back, but on closer inspection I think it was a sloppy job at the factory. The machinist probably threw them all in a bucket and didn't do a very good post-processing job. The packaging was also cheap and reflected the craftsmanship of the end product. I don't know how the car fared because I decided to go back and shell out the extra money for an OX locker. I hope you are interested

Initial review: This item came with 2 spacers of one type and 0 spacers of another type. Parts looked like new, box was sealed. I didn't notice this until I installed it as the parts are very similar. I understand things happen, but it's very frustrating.
