Not happy, doesn't seem to charge, hooked up to my couch battery, it gets 0.01 a day or nothing, under southern sun all day, and I've had a 2 watt device that worked better. I figured if I had a 20 watt device it would charge while the van was parked

I parked my car all day in sub-zero temperatures and when I went out to start the car that evening the battery was 95% charged. (very impressed) The only downside is that the included suction cups don't like cold weather and they detach from the windshield after a day.

I didn't expect the charger to drain my battery. And why the heck is Revain asking me about heat, thickness and suction power for a solar charger, it's a bit creepy. Like a child that sniffs terribly. Don't bother buying this and waiting for it to do something. I just ordered some 50w and 100w panels and a real charge controller.

I bought this hoping there would be something to keep the battery charged during the winter months. Not only was it easy to plug in, but I now have a full battery just by putting it in the window. The solar panels themselves are well made and housed in plastic, so they're really protected from cracking. The well-made battery connections are also worth mentioning.

This is a 20W solar panel. I hooked it up to a small air pump that only draws 6 watts and barely works even in full cloudless sun. The blue charge indicator light came on and as soon as I connected the pump all the lights went out. I connected the pump to the battery and everything worked. Others who reviewed the air pump said they were able to run it on solar power, so I believe it's a panel and not a pump. I would expect it not to be as efficient or powerful as advertised, but far from it.

I use this product to charge and maintain the 12v battery in my 2007 Hyundai Elantra. My battery was not fully charged due to a plug problem. GOOD: The panel itself looks quite solidly assembled. In full sun, my multimeter reads about 18V, so it appears to be working as advertised. BAD: Compared to all other chargers I own (from Battery Tender), the panel's SAE connector is reverse wired (positive wire). is the female side of the SAE connector, not the male side).
