I love this duvet. It's heavy, big and well made. Since it's a mix, I suspect it will hold up well. Warm! There are only two problems with it - only dry fishing line (but I knew I was going in) and it stinks a bit. Just washed for the first time. Didn't smell before washing. I have a queen size gray throw. The color is beautiful and rich. The stitching is even and I like the large manufacturer's label; it reminds me of home growing up with those wool blankets. For the price and versatility this is a very good duvet. Nice but not as interesting as pendulum tone. I washed it when I got it, not because it was necessary but simply because I do. I travel a lot for work and stay overnight. Most hotels these days have adopted the duvet/spread/mite concept, which is great when the room is cold, but most are too hot for me. This blanket is of very high quality. Heavy, the fabric is very dense, the seams along the edges are neat. It's also obviously wool - it's prickly and smells a bit when you take it out of the mailer. You can really see the quality of this blanket. It has double stitching, a good average weight and an overall nice coloration.
