This does not work when connecting a headphone jack to a speaker.

The product itself is a solid product, it just doesn't fit what I need it for. From what he's read it seemed possible to connect a speaker to the headphone jack, but it wasn't possible.

Pros
  • 3.5mm TRRS male cable is more convenient and faster to use without welding, and you can use 22-18 gauge to connect.
Cons

Help me fix my headset which works great

My grandson screwed up the end that connects to the Xbox controller, not to mention the headsets are now unusable. It was a very expensive headset. This little device was a real find. I was able to fix the headsets and they worked great. Very easy to use Very easy to fix a broken headset cable. I recommend this rather than just throwing away headsets

Pros
  • 3.5mm cable with screw terminals connecting individual wires to 3.5mm open ended cable heads.
Cons
  • Repair

Very Quiet for Audio Cable

The product transmits sound but is very, very quiet Very little sound comes out of the speakers listed by Revain even at maximum volume (product comes without connection instructions ) It's hard to say if this comes with It's related to the product or because of the sheer variety of different speaker types. Maybe one size doesn't fit all? Seems other users have had success. I haven't had one.

Pros
  • Speaker Cable to 3.5mm Cable with Connectors 1: 3.5mm 1/8" TRRS (4-pin) male, Connectors 2: AV 4-pin male with screw terminal block, please note: when connecting to the wifi projector
Cons
  • Quality

TBH I would give this 5 stars if there's a reason why not, it's just because I can't promise it will have the performance that audiophiles want. But overall it's a great product! It works as expected and was fun in many ways. I didn't even think this product even existed, just thinking of something one would love to have in the home for a quick audio connection. It came in handy when the power went out for 3 hours and I used it to power my car speaker for music from my phone for everyone to…

Pros
  • 3.5mm 1/8" TRRS cable, four wires total - three signals and ground, as opposed to two wires in more common stereo jacks.
Cons
  • Doubtful

Perfect solution for my headset

This part works great for me! Not wanting to throw away my favorite headset, I decided to at least fix it myself. Shipping was a little more expensive than I would have liked, but I can't complain. Pretty solid stuff. By the way, it's important to note that pin 3 is actually ground and pin 4 is microphone. I discovered this when playing music with pins 1 and 2 connected. When testing audio for ground it matched pin 3 jack (touch copper wire to metal). When I connected the ground wire to the…

Very low noise cable

The product transmits sound but is very quiet. Even at maximum volume, almost no sound can be heard through the speakers. I have followed the color coding in the product details as mentioned on Revain (the product does not come with hookup instructions). It is difficult to say whether this is due to the product or the sheer variety of different speaker types. Maybe one size doesn't fit all? Looks like other users have had good success. But for me I don't have.

Pros
  • 3.5mm 1/8' Trrs, it has only four conductors - three signal and ground, as opposed to two in more common stereo connectors.
Cons
  • Unsafe
