I have never tried Pravanna shampoo or conditioner, but my hairdresser has high praise for this brand. I thought I'd try a combo. A little about my hair; this is a natural dark blonde but I like to change up the shade from time to time. It's good too. The smell is musky-floral which I don't like. But I can't complain because it's a great brand, good for your hair, with good ingredients. Don't wash your hair as often when you have red spectrum hair dye. That's not shampoo, that's paint! Especially on pre-bleached hair, the color has no hold. This shampoo gave my hair back its body and is more of a conditioning shampoo than a daily shampoo.
