🔆 Pravana Perfect Blonde Hair Care Shampoo & Conditioner Combo Review

I have not used the product yet; However, I wanted to post my disappointment with the condition in which I received it. This product is not cheap. I bought it to hopefully make my color last longer as it was expensive. When I opened the box I could tell by the smell that the product had leaked. Hoping it wasn't much, I opened it wider and found that a good amount leaked out and entered the bag. I just bought this from Amazon a few weeks before going to my hair salon. While I was there I noticed my barber was using it on me so I pointed out I had just gotten it too. She told me to take it home to compare to the one I bought on Amazon because she had previously heard they are sold watered down by her other customers on Amazon. After years of testing purple shampoos and conditioners, I've finally found the right one. I have very light, sweaty hair and this product keeps it light for 8 weeks between salon visits, which in itself is a miracle. The icing on the cake is that it really moisturizes my hair and leaves it soft and smooth. My hairstylist even commented on how healthy my hair has become since I started using Pravana. Finally, just when you thought it couldn't get any better, this stuff smells good too.

I've been using this product since July on the recommendation of a stylist. I have used purple shampoos from other brands in the past and have had great success. My goal was to get my natural hair color ash brown at the roots and a light ombre. I ended up trying to go blonde on my own after trying to dye my dark red hair ash brown at a new salon. I've used a lot of purple shampoos. This is one of the best. Most dry my hair out a bit and since the anti-brassing effect comes from the shampoo rather than the conditioner, my review is mostly about the effect of the shampoo. I rinse my hair well and then shampoo without lathering too much. and leave it on for a few minutes. I usually rinse and repeat. Sometimes I use it on dry hair. Rinse well. I applied it to my hair at the salon so I decided to buy a bottle for home use. I also bought it once on Amazon and then my hair turned green-blue too. I fixed this by adding ash toner and a drop of 10 vol conditioner to the conditioner and shampoo.
