Description of Pre Caulking Filler Backer Length Width

Makes professional joints that last. Helps fill in and insulate large caulk joints and allows the caulking to absorb more movement. Closed cell design repels water to help protect the joint from damage. Complies with ASTM C 1330, Type C. Measures 3/8-inches diameter by 100-feet length. Easy to fit - soft and pliable so it fits into the joint easily. Water resistant - unlike open cell backer rod, it repels water to help protect the joint from damage. Fills the joint so you use less caulk. Fully compatible with all substrates and sealants.

Good product, arrived late.

The product itself is good and fits the expansion joints in my driveway. However, the item arrived 3 days late and now I have to postpone the driveway repair work. It's rainy season now and I don't know when I'll be able to install this to fix the driveway. This is the second consecutive Revain Prime order to arrive a few days late. The question is whether a Prime membership is worth it.

Pad must be larger than gap

I have installed several outdoor surface mount electrical boxes and needed to fill a small gap between the box and the wall. This backer worked without any problems. My local big box shop doesn't have that size anymore so I ordered from Revain. When using this type of pad, make sure the pad is larger than what needs to be filled. The pad must be compressed for a tight fit. I ordered a 1/4" reverse and my gaps were about 1/8". Also, my package included 100ft of underlay at a reasonable price. I…

Perfect size to rejuvenate the door seals on my Ford Edge

I inserted this 3/8" tube into all 5 of my door seals (first remove the seals and stretch out on the floor and then used to insert the coax cable, then tape the foam to it, then thread the foam tube through the small holes that each door seal has) Just don't do more than half of the seal at a time or the foam will tear. I have used lotion to lubricate the cables and foam to reduce friction in the seals. My doors now close nice and tight whereas previously I could dent my doors after closing and

I've been looking for this my whole life!

As an old lady, I never knew such a thing existed. All my life I had to find a way to patch cracks and holes before I putty. I now have a Filler Rope Backer Rod Roll and am very satisfied. I wish I had known that earlier. It's very easy to use. I tried putty that looked like rope sealant but it stuck to my fingers. Once I have it in place it stays there awaiting sealing. There are serious cracks and fissures in my foundation, mainly on the front and back porches. It won't solve my foundation…

The savings compared to my local hardware store were ridiculous.

I used it in combination with Sikaflex Self-Leveling Sealant (29 oz) to finish off control joints (the ones that are machined in the joints you see through concrete or paving) in my newly finished garage floor. This allowed me to use less sealant and was recommended in the sealant guide. (Note: the sealer has had amazing results on the floor. I do not recommend it!) The main reason I bought it was because my local hardware store only had a 20ft support pole. For the price of two bags of theirs…
