Arrived broken in my review

This item arrived broken. I could hear all the beads rattling around in the box before I opened it and when I did all the carbon beads that were supposed to be in the mesh inside the filter went EVERYWHERE. Packaging looked undamaged when it arrived. I ordered two and they both arrived this way. Not sure how the actual product worked as I was unable to install.

  • I like the price, but i had to order the filters separately
Cons
  • Maintenance Hassle: The extra maintenance requirements for changing the pre-filter often can be cumbersome and frustrating, interfering with daily use, especially in a busy schedule

Great filter for my opinion

This is a great filter. I have an enviroklenz and saw this and decided to try this as a replacement filter for that machine. It's smaller, but just by an inch around so it does leave a gap and I was aware of that prior to ordering. It fits the machine and seems to work as well.It is the same thickness, comparable quality by viewing. THe machines are similarly advertised and priced and I may fashion some styrofoam around the filter to eliminate that one inch gap around it. They are the same…

Ok quality. on my review.

Compared to the original IQ Air stage 3 filter, this new replacement feels far lighter. Don't know if it translates into lesser filtration element inside the filter or not. When installed into the IQ Air device & turned it off, the unit seemed to have "shifted/adjusted" to fit itself inside the machine. If so, it may be a hair smaller than the original IQ Air brand filter.

  • Installing a pre-filter without compatible units might negatively impact the air purifier, leaving customers with expensive damages or maintenance costs

On time and worked - my new review

Came quick and was the right product. Instructions with product not great but the instructions I had from equipment people made it an easy install.

Pros
  • Fit fine and appear to be well made.
Cons
  • Limited Compatibility: The Omaeon Pre-Filter is only compatible with IQAir HealthPro Series F8(S) and Pre-Max (F1), which leaves out a wide range of other air purifiers in the market

So far so good for my opinion

Have been using for a month. Seems to be working ok. I am not finding as much dog hair trapped underneath as with the IQAir filter.so I’m a bit worried that it’s not stopping as much hair. If it lasts 6 months, then it will be a good value!
