This is my first tube of Pre de Provence moisturizing hand cream and I am very impressed! I always seem to have something about lotions that I don't like - that they remain greasy even though they absorb, that their smell is off-putting, that they're too watery and don't help after about 15 minutes etc. Haven't found any of these issues with this lotion however! I love products from France. Very high quality! This Pre de Provence hand cream with 20% natural shea butter Verbena, well I didn't really understand how verbena smelled if there could be more than one type of verbena, but this one definitely reminds me of Lemon Pledge. I think they should list all of their verbena products, not just verbena but in this case lemon verbena. When we first used this lotion we went crazy trying to figure out the smell. It finally hit me - citronella. lemon, herbs. Not that sharp. Smells great. After application, the lotion practically disappears and leaves no greasy stains. After a few seconds it looks like there is nothing. But you can still smell and feel it and my skin has a glow where it's applied. The lack of transmission is nice. I have a plastic palm rest on my keyboard. I chose this product because I liked L'Occitane Shea Butter Cream and was looking for a cheaper alternative. It has a different smell and texture. Not necessarily bad, but it's different than any other cream I've used. I wish it had a slightly different scent, maybe orange, but that doesn't matter. A little sticky, but then goes away, moisturizes the hands. I would recommend this product but it's not exactly what I was looking for.
